Mobile Disability Rehabilitation Centre

Understanding the significant challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, particularly those in remote and underserved areas, the Trust has partnered with the Handicapped Rights and Welfare Association to address these issues. To improve accessibility and support, they have introduced an innovative Mobile Disability Rehabilitation Van. This van is designed to bring essential assistive devices directly to people in rural and tribal regions who lack access to medical facilities and resources.

The Mobile Disability Rehabilitation Van is equipped with a range of artificial aids and supports, including the Jaipur foot, Jaipur hand, three-wheeled cycles, crutches, hearing aids, and Braille kits. These items are crucial for individuals who may not have the financial means or access to specialized medical centers where such aids are typically available. By delivering these aids directly to communities in need, the initiative helps to bridge the gap in accessibility and provides much-needed support to enhance mobility and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. This program represents a significant step toward ensuring that everyone, regardless of their location or financial status, has the opportunity to live more independently and with dignity.
